Merry Christmas

I want to extend a Merry Christmas to all this year.  To my troops out there, I think of you often and have not forgotten what you do, or YOU during this Christmas season.  It is a difficult time for me, but I think of you all during this season.  Hope you enjoy the boxes from Troop Box Ministries and the American Legion.  God Bless you and all you do.

Just wanted to post this photo of the 2008 White House Christmas reception. The President was gracious, food was great, and the Marine Band was excellent as usual.

Where I am coming from

First of all I want to thank all of you for your support, prayers for Matt, Micah and his brother Stephen and sister Lee Ann.. We were so devastated when Matt returned home not alive.  We miss him so badly.  His laughter and kindness was beyond anything you could imagine.  He loved his Mustang and he was very particular about himself as well.  His studies were important to him and he worked hard to be on the Dean’s list.  He studied Nutritional Science at UC Clermont and never did know his achievements.  His duty to this country will never be forgotten.  We salute all the fallen and their families.  We all feel the pain of this war.  May God be with you.  Thank you past, present and future troops that have protected our freedom.  Always remember:  Freedom is NOT free.

Please observe as stated on this website that I do not support the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, April 9 Fallen Heroes, or the Fallen Heroes fund for the museum.  My direction is to be Matt’s Scholarship Fund.

Thank you,

Carolyn
